🐆 Kuno National Park – India’s Cheetah Conservation Destination

Kuno National Park, located in the Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh, is one of India’s most exciting and emerging wildlife destinations. Formerly known as Kuno Wildlife Sanctuary, it gained global attention after the historic reintroduction of cheetahs in India under the Cheetah Conservation Project. Spread across vast forests, grasslands, and river systems, Kuno offers a unique blend of wildlife, conservation, and natural beauty, making it a must-visit destination for nature and wildlife enthusiasts.

🌿 Landscape & Wildlife

Kuno National Park features a diverse ecosystem of dry deciduous forests, open grasslands, and riverine habitats along the Kuno River. The park supports a wide range of wildlife, including:

  • 🐆 Leopard
  • 🐺 Wolf
  • 🐻 Sloth Bear
  • 🐕 Wild Dog (Dhole)
  • 🦌 Chital, Sambar, Nilgai
